In my professional practice, I've successfully used tapping to support many children, starting from age 8, in achieving better emotional balance. They have found tapping to be a vital tool, a peace-making technique that can swiftly eliminate even the most burdensome and seemingly unmanageable emotions. As a result, they emerge less troubled and are able to move forward with a clearer mind. Often, they find it difficult to even recall the intense feelings that once caused them so much distress.
Tapping can be utilised for a multitude of emotional issues. Below are some of the most common reasons teens and young people turn to tapping: navigating everyday challenges in our digital world, decreasing anxiety, subduing pre-exam nerves, reducing post-trauma emotions, overcoming the effects of bullying, collapsing the fear behind phobias, and improving self-esteem and motivation.
Tapping helps reprogramme responses, enhances the mind-body connection, and empowers girls to move forward in a more positive direction.
